Printmaking is a fascinating field that has occupied my practice for a number of years, being one way to get my photographic images into other forms of art. I was introduced to the field by my daughter who was graduated from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She taught me how to screen print and from there I took classes and workshops involving woodblock printing, linocut, drypoint, etching, lithography and collagraphy. I delight in combining techniques among the printmaking methods as well as with other forms such as encaustic, watercolor, collage and photography.
